I think this song is about how much they love each other (in his view of course). "You know that there are no other two hearts Closer than ours"

And that he hopes that they won't ever be apart.. It's nicee :)

i think this song is a metaphor. he's telling this girl how amazing their love could be. & he asks her "But would you risk the broken bones" as in the risk of getting hurt (broken heart) that comes with falling in love. "Just to call this place home? This could be home" home is a metaphor for a safe & secure place for her to always run to. "you are the only one i promise the stars" she's the only one he loves this deeply.
