Harmony Lyrics

i am i
you are you
we are we
we could live in such harmony

can't you see
apathy
lies between
we could live in such harmony

i am praying for the day
when you and I and he and she are we
when you and I and he and she are we

we start a war
but what's it for
we fight for peace
peace will find us with harmony

trade your guns
fire with doves
fight for love
peace with find us with harmony

i am praying for the day
when you and I and he and she are we
when you and I and he and she are we

one for all
all for one
we for we
we could sing in such harmony

i work for you
you work for me
we work for free
we could sing in such harmony

i am praying for the day
when you and I and he and she are we
when you and I and he and she are we
humanity will sing harmony

Cover art for Harmony lyrics by Never Shout Never

I just got done reading about the Columbine Shooting back in '99. Perhaps the most terrible thing that's ever happened in this cruel world. Which is what brought me to this song. I'm pretty sure its saying that we should all just love one another, and to just be peaceful. Kinda hard when theres such scary people out there. But this is the world we live in. And "when the power of love overcomes the love of power, this world will know peace." Jimi Hendrix said that. Hope this world finds enough love to overcome it....

This I think is Chris's way of saying we are all equal and peace will make the world such a better place, which I completely agree with.

at the harmony tour i almost cried when he sang this....his voice is so angelic!
