4000 Years Lyrics

(Undecipherable)

I'll be here, when you need me
far from it all
Turn another way, if you see me
Today it falls
You beat yourselves like this
I open my fist

It's the skin that makes me crawl (Beyond and away)
It's your house where I had this dream (Taken for a day)
You've been so fucking blind, four thousand years

I'll go back, if they need me
Back to it all
On another day, clear to see
Jump the wall
I close myself like this
You drop your fist

It's the skin that makes me crawl (Beyond and away)
It's your house where I had this dream (Taken for a day)

Remind yourself
Why you're here

Rewind myself
While I'm here

Cover art for 4000 Years lyrics by My Platinum Nightmare

The singer of this band was a mental case. He would talk about how he was an alien from another galaxy and he was put on Earth 4000 years ago to take notes on the advancement of humans. This song is definitely about how he "hates to act human". i.e. it's the skin that makes me crawl. Every time I tried to talk to Henry, he would just start changing the conversations right in the middle of everything I said. I don't know if it was his age or if he had problems with drugs or alcohol.

When he says, "rewind myself", it means he can reverse his age to become someone different. I think he was afraid of dying.
