This is a fab opening track to the new album!

It feels like it's written about fan reaction and how you can feel their adoration ('all their love') on stage when it's directed to them. The first verse describes the writing process of a songwriter and wondering how darker and more intense lyrics might be received ('how you gonna handle me?')

I don't particularly like the choir ending, but I do like how it links to the following track.

I feel like this song is about someone who became famous with very little work--perhaps an heir(ess) or model--and has let that fame get to his/her head. The ending, in particular, strikes me...the choir seems to be singing in an appraising way, like it was a great idol. Does the choir say, "We're going down," at the very end? If they do, it may suggest that the person falls from grace, or may be a forewarning to said person..."all that rises must fall" sort of deal.

Yes, now I know for a fact that the choir says "we're going down" after repeating the "all the right friends" stanza.

Also, the lyrics are a little wrong...instead of, "In I start to wonder," shouldn't it be "THEN I start to wonder"? And after "How you gonna handle me?" it should say, "When I'm under / Swimmin' in the darkest sea." Also, I always thought it said, "Gettin' like an ocean," instead of "Big like an ocean."

When I think of this song, I think of love. I think the message is to feel love like it was made for us as he keeps repeating through out the song. Who's there to take your love, to make the love(love in general, not sex) who can you trust-who won't lie and stab your back?, who's the right friend( a true friend), are you at the right place and with the right faces? and most inportantly can you, yourself feel love? Other than that this is a great song the choir is a little creepy when they start singing were going down. But I think it's awesome he's kind of reprising the song all the right moves. The songs in the album in general I think they're really giving you the intention to wake up (name of the album) and question yourself and see life from a different perspective which is something I love about one republic. They have like a spirituality in their music, not religious spiritual just soul searching type of spiritual.

I think it's about someone who is being pressured into doing something they should do, but they are reluctant to make the decision. Plus the piano is EPIC.

Does anyone else feel like this has any political undertones? Maybe this is just how I interpret it, but maybe they are insinuating that President Obama has "all the right friends in all the right places" and "all the right moves in all the right spaces."

Think about it: "Everybody wants you to make Its all yours Everybody wants to take Its all yours Everybody wants you to make Its all yours Everybody wants to T-t-t-take it"

A lot of Americans wanted Obama to win, thus "Everybody wants you to make it." "It's all yours," means, the power is all his.

"Everybody wants to take it, it's all yours." means everybody wants the power, but it's all his.

"Tell me something Something that can move me Dont tell me lies I swear your gonna lose me"

The voter is asking Obama to tell him something that will make him want to vote for him. He warns him, don't lie to me, or else I won't vote for you.

It's a little out there, but that's what I think of this.
