Ship of Fools Lyrics
In the bedroom you will find her
All your life is dead
Everything you do reminds her
Step lightly and beware
Hark the herald angels singing
All the holy bells are ringing
Hark the herald angels singing
Singing, singing, singing
Every journey, every station
Every twist and every turn
Sign posted destination
Rivers of no return
Hark the herald angels singing
All the holy bells are ringing
Hark the herald angels singing
Singing, singing, singing
All aboard, all aboard, ship of fools...
Head in the stars and heading for home
In search of dreams that you can
Call your own...
In the bedroom you will find her
All your life returned
She sucked you in and lit the fire
Struck you up and watched you burn
Hark the herald angels singing
All the holy bells are ringing
Hark the herald angels singing
Singing, singing, singing
All aboard, all aboard, ship of fools...
Head in the stars
Heading for home
All your life is dead
Everything you do reminds her
Step lightly and beware
All the holy bells are ringing
Hark the herald angels singing
Singing, singing, singing
Every twist and every turn

Rivers of no return
All the holy bells are ringing
Hark the herald angels singing
Singing, singing, singing
In search of dreams that you can
Call your own...

She sucked you in and lit the fire
Struck you up and watched you burn
All the holy bells are ringing
Hark the herald angels singing
Singing, singing, singing
Heading for home

Does anyone notice that there is a phrase in spanish in this song?
Sounds like a doozy of a relationship, vampiric if you ask me. The guy was suckered in with starry eyes and a promise and it seems there's no backing out of it. A little cynicism in there that sounds optimistic but really just the opposite ("dreams you can call your own...")
