This is what the song means in my opinion ^.^

"Stay for tonight, If you want to, I can show you, What my dreams are made of, As I'm dreaming of your face" -Kellin is asking a lost love for a chance to prove his feelings to her, how he feels about her.

"I've been away for a long time, Such a long time, And I miss you there, I can't imagine being anywhere else, I can't imagine being anywhere else but here" -Kellin lost the girl but he misses her and is trying to win her back, he can only picture himself being with her and no one else.

"How the hell did you ever pick me, Honestly, I could sing you a song, But I don't think words can express your beauty, Sing to me" -Kellin feels as if he isn't good enough for her and he can't seem to find the way to express himself to her.

"How the hell did we end up like this, You bring out the beast in me, I fell in love from the moment we kissed, Since then we've been history"

• The girl makes Kellin feel really good and he fell in love with her when they kissed but since then they haven't been together, maybe because she left him.

"They say that love is forever, Your forever is all that I need, Please stay as long as you need" -Kellin just needs the girl's love, he wants to be with her forever, or as long as the girl wants.

"Won't promise that things won't be broken, But I swear that I will never leave, Please stay forever with me" -Kellin isn't promising a perfect relationship but he is saying that he will never give up on her.

"It goes to show, I hope that you know that you are, What my dreams are made of" -Kellin is explaining to the girl she's all he thinks of and dreams of, as in he hopes to be with her.

"Can't fall asleep, Can't fall asleep I lay in my bed awake, my bed awake at night, As I dream of you." -Laying awake and thinking of his love is all Kellin can do.

"I'll fall in love, you'll fall in love, This could mean everything, everything to me. I can't imagine being anywhere else" -Falling in love is all Kellin wants to do, and only being with his love.

"The way that we are, Is the reason I stay, As long as you're here with me, I know I'll be okay." -Being with his love is basically everything Kellin cares about.

Correction...

"Can't promise that things won't be broken, But I swear that I will never leave."

The whole song he is pleading to a lost love to come back to him. It seems his love is considering it, probably even in a moment of weakness gave in, but she probably is scared, and doesn't trust him because she has heard it all before.

He's trying to be realistic at this part, probably to prove he isn't being delusional, by saying he knows there will be a lot they will have to work on. No matter what it is, however, he will not give up.

Throughout the whole song there is some underlying anger/hurt towards his ex that is being conveyed, trying to make a point of "I meant everything I said. I told you I would love you forever. Where is your promise?"

I think a lot of us have been at this stage of a break up, or are going through it.

This song IS amazing. It hits home for me because it reminds me of how me and my ex are, great song nonetheless

You people need to chill!!!! The song can be about whatever!! The song is about what it makes you feel!! Like for me, it makes me think of my amazing girlfriend, and how much I love her, but it can mean whatever! Just like it might mean what you said about Kellin, to Kellin... it depends on how you interpret the song! cheers!
