I'm listening to this on repeat right now. I'm sure it's just because of my situation right now, but this song reminds me of a relationship that's parted, or maybe just gone south a bit, and he's saying that he wants to give it another shot. Try and start back from day one and get it right this time. I'm listening to it because it feels like it relates so well to my girlfriend and I right now. We've been drifting apart a bit, and now I'm trying to "bring it back." I really love this song <3

this song means so much to me. especially now. but regardless, it's an amazing song and i love it so much ^_^ it's basicaly about a relationship that's either ended or is on the verge of ending and he wants to show her that despite the ups and downs, he loves her. and he only wants to be with her. he wants to try again, and he's asking her if she wants to give it another shot. such a cute song[: so relatable.

I love this song since songs of reminiscence usually have a much mellower vibe.

I compare this song to something like a high school or college relationship ("back when we didn't have to live") where they went their separate ways after graduation, but that's just how i see it. Unless I'm being naive, it's a very easy song to understand.

everyone always looks back lol thinkin of how everything use to be. . . uncomplicated, easy, no cares. then you grow up :/ but everyone likes to look back & do it again<3 just in a different way(: because you're older :) love this song.
