Still Missing You Lyrics
Saw you in the window
Of our favorite coffee shop
I didn't have the sense
To just keep driving down the block
And you were standing there
And I could see the back of your hair
And all I could remember
Was everything I shouldn't even dare to think about
I'm still missing you
I can't afford to be kissing you again
I'm still missing you
I drove into the parking lot
I could feel my pounding heart
You should've seen your face
When you looked up and saw my car
And we were standing there
You ran your fingers softly through my hair
And all I can remember
Was how you held me in your arms and gazed into my eyes
I'm still missing you
I can't afford to be kissing you again
I'm still missing you
I tried not to forget
All the reasons we're apart
Who'd have thought we'd end up
In the back seat of my car
But here we are again
And even though we've tried to just be friends
I always will remember
The way it feels to lie with you and share our open hearts
I'm still missing you
I can't afford to be kissing you again
I'm still missing you
Of our favorite coffee shop
I didn't have the sense
To just keep driving down the block
And I could see the back of your hair
And all I could remember
Was everything I shouldn't even dare to think about
I can't afford to be kissing you again
I'm still missing you
I could feel my pounding heart
You should've seen your face
When you looked up and saw my car
You ran your fingers softly through my hair
And all I can remember
Was how you held me in your arms and gazed into my eyes
I can't afford to be kissing you again
I'm still missing you
All the reasons we're apart
Who'd have thought we'd end up
In the back seat of my car
And even though we've tried to just be friends
I always will remember
The way it feels to lie with you and share our open hearts
I can't afford to be kissing you again
I'm still missing you

This is a cute, chipper little song. I found it easy to get involved in the story line, because it's a scenario most of us can relate to. I was happy when she found the courage to go see the guy and have a happy reunion, and I hope that they stayed together this time (although the final chorus implies that they didn't).
