She Takes Me High

We the Kings performed this song last night when they opened for All Time Low. It's off their new album, Smile Kid, which comes out December 8. I was actually surprised how great they were live. Travis was amazing, and the instrumentals were awesome. I was really proud to know every lyric to all their songs! If you're thinking about seeing them live, I highly recommend it. I love this song, too. It seemed to catch on pretty quickly because it has a nice beat and a good sound.

I saw them live earlier this year and i agree they are absolutely amazing I love this song and how it brings in how you dream of people and wish the dreams were real "I'll keep sleeping If I don't stop dreaming I would stop my breathing for you I'm not leaving This life I'm dreaming 'Cause I can't stop living with you" I think loads of us do this (:

This is like a relationship rolercoaster. I also saw them live about a year ago and I was surprised they were really very good live. They also seem really nice and funny..but anyways I really love this song.

The chorus has a slight Avril Lavigne feel to it doesn't it, that "Hot" song of hers. Hahahah. Beautiful song nonetheless, with damn sweet lyrics

Wow I can't believe this song only has 6 comments..well it's one of my favorite songs and the lyrics are awesome. Pretty much it's about a guy in a relationship with a girl and it's about how great their relationship is. Like any other relationship, sometimes things aren't good but they work through the bad times and enjoy the good times together and that's what relationships are about. Basically, he really loves her and feels something towards her. Beautiful song :)

The song isn't simply about his relationship. He's dreaming these things "Last night's dream..." and he wants to keep sleeping so he can dream about the relationship some more "I'll keep sleeping If I don't stop dreaming I would stop my breathing for you I'm not leaving This life I'm dreaming 'Cause I can't stop living with you"

So he's living a relationship in his dreams essentially.

A think it's really sweet the interpretation about love and a girl... But I really think it's drugs. Definitely drugs. "She takes me high", "This life I'm dreaming", "She got 10 feet off the ground", "I would stop my breathing for you" "You're everything I need", "and now I know what she does to me". If he's in love, he's in love with his drugs.
