Im standing all alone now, wishing I could go down praying just to see her face

Each day I’d scale the staircase, wondering If I dare face,well tell me what am I to say?

Your voice was shy as you whispered, “Im gonna leave and never come back...” While my lips they quietly quivered, a sentence I thought you’d reject
I said, “You’ve got the eyes of an angel, stars align to the curves of your lips...I’ve never seen anything quite as beautiful Or anyone as imperfectly perfect…”
So that night as I made my departure, I cast my heart by that golden oak tree and as I passed the cement by your window, I heard it cracking right under my feet…
And I prayed to God that you’d meet someone who cared for you as much as me…
But for now I just hope that you’re listening. and that you hear every word that I speak…
