Love the song + clip. Watching the film clip, and with lines like "Drink from the fountain of youth and never age again," I think it's about going going through life, and wanting to stay in your prime.
"Safe for now in this wonderous state" Living in the present, at the 'prime' of life (whenever that is!).
"There's something lurking from the shadows within Stealing the colour and life from our skin" I think the thing lurking is ageing. It hides in the background and slowly steals your youthfulness.
"Drink from the fountain of youth and never age again Sometimes we jump across to every cloud Fly away, get lost and never be found" Kind of seems to me like a Peter Pan reference. Maybe not directly, but hey who knows.

I really enjoyed this song. It has this oddly grandiose feeling about it, as if it puts everything into some vast perspective. Most of all, this song makes me think of my friends, and leaving them behind. It even makes me a bit sad.
