I Cant believe nobody commented yet! I LOOOOVVVVVEEE This song it is so hypnotizing ;) I think it's obvious that it is about a girl who is desperate to tell someone she is right for him and doesn't want him to be with anyone else but her ("Not gonna share you no")

What does this mean?! "I'm drawing circles don't you know, protect the seed that wants to grow To a garden, pardon my territory"

Jeebus. I love this song so much because I can relate to it. I think the meaning's obvious, she'll do anything for him and he doesn't seem to care or notice (Isn't it about time you stuck up for me).

wow, because the song is interpreted by a girl you all think is through the girls eyes. well, i can tell you it isn't. it was written by a man,her former colleague. anyone familiar with trance producer "who. is."?....well thats him.

Obviously about someone who wants someone else, and the singer knows there is competition for the person's heart. He/She is willing to fight for him/her, because he/she has never felt this way before about someone. I love this song because I am going through the same thing currently...

This is old but for anyone who is still looking for the meaning of this song, Morgan Page did an interview with EQ and give this answer: ""Fight For You" is about two jealous lovers fighting over their territory. It's a classic lover's quarrel, but with a bit of melancholy. The vocalist wrote about a situation she experienced and I threw in some lines – so it's a combined experience of several relationships."

that's probably my favorite part in the song because the whole time she's saying she'd fight for, i'm assuming this particular man, and then she questions him if he can do the same.
