good song.. i don't like it as much as 'into the mirror'..
one correction i could find..
'and now you're walking out the door'.. instead of 'and we were walking out the door'. also.. 'we brought forth see this coming on..' instead of 'we brought forth see this coming at all.'
to sum the song up.. i believe it's about someone leaving him for bigger and better things and he's trying to let that go.. but holds on to it still. they're traveling in different directions in life but they might still end up at the same place.

I believe the first part is "just smoke and a little touch of mint" instead of "just smoked a little touching me" and "no hollow tipped attack" instead of "no hollow tic to tac". The first line is describing how her kiss tasted and how it gave him no clue that she was leaving him and the "hollow tipped attack" is most likely referencing the unfair digs that couples say to each other when they are having a fight.

i think he says something along the lines of "a bright fool could see this coming on" instead of "we brought forth see this coming on." i know bright fool doesnt make sense but its what i hear.

Minus The Bear fails to disappoint once again...this song has that unique sound you only hear from MTB...and i cant wait for the release date
hell yeah man, this has that awesome bite that Minus The Bear amazingly pulls off without any negative effect to the overall sound of alt/experimental/math rock.
i can not wait for the rest of the album's songs. i think it was a good pair to release.
as for the song, to sum up my interpretation, it's about a man realizing his ex was no good at all and actually seeing [the truth of] what happened to him in a different perspective this time around and he can finally be content with how things turned out. [the line about being rested]
