A New Lyrics

Sworn too fast with all my might
The clay was soft, the future bright
Old fashioned ways that won't erase
Out of control, this building gate

Blinded like new
I'm feeling much stranger about you
Blinded like new
I'm feeling much stranger about you

Despite the shape, this twisted form
With open arms into the storm
Kept me kept and wanting more
I saw you peeking through the door

Seems well thought out but I can't get a grip on what it means. Anyone have any ideas?

'Sworn too fast with all my might The clay was soft, the future bright Old fashioned ways that won't erase Out of control, this building gate'

I feel this quite strongly, as 'falling too fast' for someone. Feeling the brightness of the moment, so ready to be moulded by another. I have fallen too quickly in the past always, a bad habit.. without self-control checking me each time as I run through the check-in gates ;)

then comes the strange feeling you never actually knew this person, you just fell in love with the 'Idea' of them..

And then comes the...

i think its about meeting someone new and you start to fall for them. but your not sure what they are all about, but your so in "awww" that you take a risk and start something new instead of the same old thing.

This song generally seems to be about going through life with "old" passed down ideas of how things are, then kind of having an awakening to a "new" state of mindfulness, then inevitably realizing you feel kind of strange about things you used to take for granted as being normal.
