Such a beautiful song. It's clearly a song to her mother. She is telling her not to worry because she found a man that will take good care of her. Such a nice song:)
Yup, this song is all about telling mother that she's found the one who will take care of her, and love her.

I <3 this song. It is amazing. This is one of the best songs EVER! Although, I say that to every Carrie Underwood song...
But that's not the point! The point is that this is a beautiful song that you can relate to if you're getting married or have children that are getting married.
So I can't realte considering I'm thirteen.
But it is still an amazing song from an amazing person with amazing vocals that sings tons of other amazing songs.

This is my favourite Carrie song.
She's saying her mom taught her the facts of life and growing up, she was always the one there for her whenever she needed her mom. Her mom wants the very best for her daughter, and Carrie is saying she found exactly that; her future husband who takes care of her, and treats her, as the song says, like a real man should treat a woman and he will always be there for her.
Just makes me smile everytime because it reminds me of my own guy. :)
When she first started to write it, it was about her mother and her and almost took a wedding form. Then the more she wrote it she saw the spritual part of it and wanted to keep it general so that it wasn't directed just at those who were being given away for marriage. She is one of my favorite artists! I love her love for God and here is the interview she did for the song that I am referencing. He is soo good! <3

aww this song is one of my favorite songs from Carrie Underwood i can't believe her mom that was in the video was her real mom and the guy she married was the guy she actually married but it was a good song
well really i dedicate this song to my grandmother because she will hopefully be at my wedding because my mother will not be their only her spirit will be when i first heard this song i started cryign because it really hit me you know taht my mother will not be their for me when that day comes or when i graduate so yeah<3
