Skirting on the Surface Lyrics

When we realise we've only to dive then we're out of here
We're just skirting on the surface

We've only to click our fingers and we disappear
We are just skirting on the surface
Dull eyes, trying to pull you through the ice
Being drawn to the ledge

When we realise that once that once we're broken nothing mends
We're just skirting on the surface

When we realise we're only held in suspension
'Til someone comes along and shakes us
And as the pattern lights cross their figures like a web
Will we die upon the surface?

Dull eyes, trying and pull you through the ice
Being drawn to the ledge

When were realise that once we're broken nothing mends
We're just skirting on the surface.

i think he sings "when we realise we have only to dive and we're out of here" this song seems to be about the superficiality of life, how there are far more riches awaiting us under the surface of our infotainment world.

When we realise we've only to dive then we're out of here >>>> related to climate change and doom's day.

Has to do with superficiality, but in my opinon on a very extremist way, like saying "the day we die, we'll relize all the wrong things we've done"
