I'm surprised nobody has commented on this, I really like it! :) I think it's just me being deaf, but where they say "and I'm no longer afraid", I was convinced they were singing "and I'm goin' suck her face" Haha, apparently not.
I think that there are a few mistakes in the lyrics here
Don't let it escalate (Instead of escalade)
Forever is over, and my hearts not going to break (Instead of fight)
and I'm getting closer to the place where I belong (Instead of stuck)
It's about a girl finally freeing herself from a bad relationship, but she'll be okay as now she just wants to get out as 'Forever is Over'.
