I think it makes a lot more sense if the last two lines are: "'Cause if the full moon comes, our love is done, So forever, towards dawn, we run".
this song is one of my favorites on this album.
the only correction to make here that i can obviously pick out is the title. it should be "werewolf heart."
I always thought she said "My heart's a prisoner to my lips" but obviously yours makes more sense.
It's funny that a lot of people comment on all their lyrics don't really say the mean of the song just 'love them' lol It's hard to tell isn't it? =P
Well, I think this one is about her talking about how love sometimes doesn't work for certain reasons. Maybe because she is trapped to or behind something?

"Werewolf heart" in accordance to the title, which evidently unveils the meaning of the song, it suggest that there is conflict with the heart and decisions? When a human transforms into a werewolf, they're changing, as too, the person is changing in love. I have't wholly analyzed the song, but from the tittle, I assume that's the meaning.

Maybe become a werewolf will end their love. But change's coming and it's somehow unstoppable.
