OMG i cant believe im the first one to comment:) i love this song. i think this song is about trying to forget about the past.the people the words everything.only to realize that the kids(probaly my generation,us teens and preteens)like,or want everything there runing from.

I think thatthis song is about, teenagers dreaming of bad stuff like the kind of stuff in horror movies. And if people ask them if they like it, they lie and say they don;t, when they actually do. They're also trying to like block out the thoughts but they keep coming back and they can't help it. They like it in their head, but they don't think they will like it if it actually happened.. Also, WOW , Im the third to comment, I cant believe that. I've loved this song since the first time I heard it.
