Vampire Lyrics

You blew fire in my heart when I was found
Oh you leant me coffins oh and laced them with doubt
Oh and how I did lick oh that spot on your neck
That sent shivers up under your dress
And moved light of the sun and suck up life from my love

So kiss me please kiss me I’m done turning blue
Oh and I’m headed to the darkness I’m on the loose
Oh lover oh simply wont lay down and die

Ohhhh vampires you can suck out the blood
But you can't kill the heart of my love

Oh creatures in flight
Lets be creatures of the night
Creatures in flight
Lets be creatures of the night
Creatures in flight
Lets be creatures of the night

You can suck out the blood
But you can't kill the heart of my love

I cannot BELIEVE nobody has commented on this song.. it is just so beautiful, and the video is amazing. It's so hauntingly beautiful, it seems to be about someone in love with a vampire, who is turned into a "creature of the night" themselves in the end.

However, it could also be seen as someone who enjoys feeling pain in love.

Also, in the first stanza it is "No light of the sun could suck out the life from my love"

I could listen to this song over and over again for hours! I got it in my iTunes along with about 25 other songs with a sampler from Urban Outfitters or something like that. I haven't seen the video, but the song is amazing.

I know this is silly, and it's only because I just finished reading all the books in about a two week period for the first time, but there is a huge connection there with the Twilight series, don't you think?
