Ezekiel (The Visionary) Lyrics

An army approaches!
Arise! Prepare!
This is the Word from the mouth of God.
And in it's power you will find life.

We are the watchmen of the new generation,
and we will stand faithful;
as intercessors and as prophets,
as those who call down the breath of God to fill the dead.
Know they will arise.

Prophecy:
"Dry bones, claim your life".

This is the river of life,
and it will flow from the place of worship.
He is the giver of life,
and at His voice the mountains will fall.
But, I will not be afraid,
for I am a chosen one of God.
I will not be afraid, but I will stand for you.

We will rise up,
and we will stand prepared,
and we will fearlesslu defend this city.
But, we will not stand alone.

Holy Spirit, fall,
and breathe your life into us.

Salvation does not come from the church. Salvation comes ONLY from God.

I do not believe the "place of worship" is referring to church in this song. The true place of worship is at the feet of God in heaven. When the river of life is mentioned in the Bible, it has nothing to do with the church (correct me if I'm wrong).

Revelation 22:1, "Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb..." If you want any more about where the river of life flows from read Revelation 21 and 22.

I don't know if you meant something else perhaps; but I see "salvation comes from the church" as heresy. As I said earlier, salvation only comes from God through Jesus Christ.

"This is the river of life, and it will flow from the place of worship."

From this part I got "Salvation comes from the Church." This being because the "place of worship" for Christians is the Church.

But this song is basically preaching the Glory of God and the Holy Spirit. How, in the end, we won't be alone when we face our darkest problems.

I didn't know how it would show up, so I posted it as a general comment; but I replied to your comment. I don't mean to attack you. Just hoping to maybe clear up some things.

I agree @muffintheman, great verse to reference man.

I love how they really put them selves into these prophets lives, it's so awesome how they capture the perspective of these men of God!

i don't agree about the church being the place of worship. I know many people that are religious but don't go to church. "the walls of a church don't make it holy, its whats authentic that completes the sum of its parts" -abr. Worship comes from your heart and faith not listening to someone preach

oh man, existance quote from august burns red right there. Couldn't agree with you more.
