I thought it was "media festive" but you may be right. If it is phillistines, he's cramped a lot of syllables in.
I'm pretty certain it's "only thing that punk rock should ever really mean", not "really be"
The next line is "think that you're better cause you're stood up on a stage", not "still part of state".
Yeah, I think you're right about most of that (changed it now) but I still think that the festive / philistines bit sounds like it ends with an 'S'.

just had a quick look at the lyrics that came with the cd, its stampedes rather than stampings and media-fed scenes rather than media philistines.
