Single of the Weak Lyrics

Nice try, big guy but I must interrupt or I'll stop you dead in your tracks again.
Headless chicken got me thinking that our world is sinking to the bottom of the sea.
Yes but buddy it aint rock and roll without A little hard graft.
'n you make me love driving through tunnels.... (what what what)

What's that shit on the radio?
Sounds like they made it so they could make it.
What's that shit on the radio?
Embeded like shingles, radioactive jingles.
What's that shit on the radio? Whoah...

Sugar coated, glucose but instead he tops the charts again.
I know this song is ironic, electro, a prophecy coming from a man who used to care for mirrors (and not microphones).
But buddy it aint rock n roll when you're involved.
And you shape your craft to fit the masses.

What's that shit on the radio?
Sounds like they made it so they could make it.
What's that shit on the radio?
Embeded like shingles, radioactive jingles.
What's that shit on the radio? Whoah...

What's that shit on the radio?
Not talking 'bout white paint, not talking bout coffee stains.

What's that shit on the radio?
Sounds like they made it so they could make it.
What's that shit on the radio?
Embeded like shingles, radioactive jingles.
What's that shit on the radio?
I'm so sick of hearing it, but I just can't stop singing it..
What's that shit on the radio? Woahhhh

According to the album booklet I have here...

"Sugar coated, glucose but instead he tops the charts again." is instead "Sugar coated, glucose BLOATED, SAFETY tops the charts again"

"I know this song is ironic, electro, a prophecy coming from a man who used to care for mirrors (and not microphones)." is instead "I know this song is ironic, ELECTRONIC HYPOCRISY coming from a BAND who used to care for mirrors (IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE)"

"And you shape your craft to fit the masses" is instead "WHEN you shape your craft to fit the masses"

:)

My Opinion

Anyway, this song is quite obvious. It's about the plastic crap we get on the radio nowadays, (No, not paint/coffee stains ;]) which X-Factor and Britain's Got Talent (and Simon Cowell in general) have a lot to answer for.

"I know this song is ironic, electronic hypocrisy coming from a band who used to care for mirrors (In more ways than one)" is a brilliant line, regarding Dave's hair loss and that he's no longer a cute poster boy, but a bald, tattooed semi-muscle man. (And it suits him, he's a metal-driven, riffing beast) It's the image thing that a lot of these critics and pathetic reviewers pick up on.

Awesome song, hopefully a single which will propel InMe to the stardom these brilliant musicians deserve!
