My Prize Lyrics
Manna from the sky above
Spherical I shape my love
Such an appetite does enthral
The frenzy with which I form this ball
Up the hill I push my prize
Lights affront and face behind
Never choose the easy path
For meals that come too easily run the risk of being dung
When you see me passing by
You can't help but wonder why
I have chosen this strange feast to carry home to eat
You know, I don't really mind
The taste is truly quite divine
And besides but I and my brethren
Would save this world from suffocating under all this waste
Truth and light shine off my back
All the universe intact
I've the tools to shape and mould
Both consciousness and soul
As I roll this world around
An image of us all is found
Slowly turning within my grasp
I personify the sun, the place where we all came from
Spherical I shape my love
Such an appetite does enthral
The frenzy with which I form this ball
Lights affront and face behind
Never choose the easy path
For meals that come too easily run the risk of being dung
You can't help but wonder why
I have chosen this strange feast to carry home to eat
The taste is truly quite divine
And besides but I and my brethren
Would save this world from suffocating under all this waste
All the universe intact
I've the tools to shape and mould
Both consciousness and soul
An image of us all is found
Slowly turning within my grasp
I personify the sun, the place where we all came from

Pretty sure this is about a Dung Beetle.
Definitely about a dung beetle. The line about personifying the sun I believe refers to the ancient Egyptians where it was a symbol of Khepri who was the early morning manifestation of Ra and was tasked with rolling the sun across the sky.
