This song sounds basically like a confessional song:
"Blood is dripping from my hands, tell me is this what you wanted?" This is where the person realizes that they've sinned pretty bad (blood of Christ), feel guitly, and asking God if this is the way things have to be

I feel like this song is about a guy who made a bad decision with he relationship and realizes what he's done. He didn't know what to do at first. He hurt her and himself in the process and now all he wants is her back, because he realizes she was all he really wanted in the first place, but now it's up to her.
