Emasculate Me Lyrics

Without love
Without hate
Without anyone who I even allowed
To find out all of the little things
I"ve been thinking

It's too easy for folks to get by
There's no reason for someone to try
To put walls around our misery
And gently emasculate me

You were seen
On your knees
Breaking what was already half destroyed
Like you love and all of the pretty things
That went with it

Spent all this time chasing happy
But happy is boring to me
So put walls around our misery
And gently emasculate me

This is one of my favourites...

I believe it is about a frustrating relationship that is simply doing his head in, theres no love, theres no hate, and his feelings are just swirling around his head, winding him up more and more.

He believes it would be simpler to just get rid and get by on his own, and that there is no reason to keep on trying to keep this relationship going, so he wishes to just give up and find satisfaction from another woman, "Spent all this time chasing happy, But happy is boring to me, So put walls around our misery, And gently emasculate me" these lyrics seem amazing to me. sick of wasting his time... just wants an end which will result in emasculation (a reduced feeling in masculinity)

The third paragraph suggests that this woman has cheated on him by being caught giving oral sex to another man, throwing away what was already a dying relationship.
