I think she says, "when all the wrong impressions are said and heard." And instead of, "fight in it afterwards" I think she says right instead of it.

Anyway, love this song and Lights. Can't wait for her new album.

Going by the official lyrics, I feel like the song is more or less straightforward. She's got a lot on her mind, so much that she can't speak clearly and she's really nervous. The things she says are coming out all wrong, and in the end, she wants to just kiss whoever she's trying to talk to and let that say everything she means to say. The bridge is exactly why I love this song so much. [:
