By the lyrics, I've interpreted that its about a guy, killing a skank girlfriend for cheating on him. Her name is Cheyene Stokes.
HOLY SHIT! I personally thought it was a typical kill a slut song. But after you siad that, i read the lyrics again and thought, that is the most badass fucking song ever. I actually liked the remake of this song, but liked the older version of recreant. weird huh?
Also Cheyne stokes is when you start breathing slower and slower until you stop then start again and repeat the sequence. Idk how that ties into this though
