I think it's about how we all just follow eachother round and everything's so mundane now. the line 'i see the lust inside your heart and i dont wanna touch the sky' and infact the whole chorus is about how we dont do anything about anything. The song is pure genius i love the whole album!

I think "lost the white in their eyes" means people smoking weed and getting red, bloodshot eyes. "Touch the sky" also means getting high, like Jimi Hendrix's "kiss the sky" in Purple Haze.
