I'm suprised this song has basically no comments. Its probably otheir best song. I love how when you first listen to it you think its okay but once you see the lyrics and see the meaning its really deep. I love this band.

I think the songs mainly talking about being in relationship and then having it all come crashing down in front of everyone..and being judged by everyone no matter what the truth is.

the new version to this song is pretty interesting seeing that craig mabbitt is in it. I didn't even notice the first time I listened to it. I own the EP and I only knew because I read the back of the case.

This is more like a broken heart song i think. "You've got me shaking from the way you're talking." Means that she's throwing insults and trying to hurt him with his words but he's - naturally - being sarcastic by saying that and it really doesn't effect him.

"My heart is breaking but there's no use crying." means that he is in pain and he is hurting but he's not going to waste anymore time on her by sulking. "What a cyanide surprise you have left for my eyes." means that she is spreading rumors about him and acting like nothing has happened.

"If i had common sense i'd cut myself or curl up and die." this is self explanitory. "Sticks and stones could break my bones but anything you say will only fuel my lungs." She's trying to make him mad by saying these awful things but it's not something that would hurt him.

"Don't mind us we're just spilling our guts" means that they're fighting and getting stuff off their chest and people are trying to intervein but they're still wanting to yell at each other.

"If this is love i don't wanna be loved." this is saying that he doesn't want to be "loved" if it's just her treating him terribly.

"You pollute the room with a filthy tongue." Means that she's using these foul words to describe everything about him.

"Watch me choke it down so that i can throw it up" this is him telling her that she can say whatever but he's not bothered by it in the slightest.

"If this is love i don't want to be hanging by the neck before an audience of death" means that she's trying to get attention by yelling at him and he's being scolded in front of all their friends and when you're being judged by the people you choose to be with on a regular basis it is like everything you built together comes crashing down.

The last sentence of that means that when she does say things like "youre the worst" he finds humor in it because she never realizes her own faults.

"Failure find me to hang me up now, by my neck cause i'm a fate worse than death" this means that he is paying the worst price for her actions and is in all of this because he is being accused of being the worst.
