this song was written for a movie, it's not better than nothing personal in the least bit.
I just looked at this soundtrack and it looks amazing! It features Florence and the Machine, ALL TIME LOW, Dashboard Confessional, Panic at the Disco, Silversun Pickups, AND Cobra Starship. And I rather like this song. It's not what we generally know as All Time Low, but it's cool and more like their earilier stuff. (like, REAL early)
Too soon to tell if I like this song or not yet. It's a bit angrier than 'Nothing Personal' but it has a really catchy chorus!

i disagree; they're getting edgier, but the sound is still more produced (i.e. not as raw)as put up or shut up or the party scene. then again, Jennifer's Body is a movie, and a horror movie at that, so the edginess was expected (at least, i expected it.) i'm a big fan, so i'm with them all the way.

Although it is in Jennifer's Body, it wasn't written specifically for it. Alex stated that he had already written it, and the band was going to put it on Nothing Personal, but they felt it didn't fit. Then when they heard about this movie, they thought it would fit well and it ended up on the soundtrack.

I think Toxic Valentine is better than most of the songs on NP. You can actually here the guitar and drums, but Alex's voice still has too much auto-tune.
This song feels more like home <3 I like the guitar and whatnot.
As for the meaning, it's pretty obvious...

I think it means she was an angel, but then they split up, so she gave up on thee whole angel thing, but instead of putting her halo away, she keeps it on the pillow he slept on while they were together, because she was being an angel for him.
