I feel like the lyrics to this song kinda kill it. The instrumental sound is really cool, but its accompanied by a set of lyrics that any one of about 30 generic pop-punk bands could have written.

bgagma: I'm a big lyric buff, and while I think the lyrics on this album are a bit more literal, as Christiaan33 has implied, I don't think they've ever really been very good at the lyric department. Mute Math's forte has always been music. They're very talented with their instruments and the musical production, but they've never been that great with lyrics, in my opinion. They're good, but not great.
All in all, nothing to interpret, but I love this song a lot.

Sorry guys, but this song is definitely a Song of Solomon-esque pleading from God to his bride (or his church.) It reads exactly the same way, sensual undertones and all.

Really, MuteMath? This song doesn't sound bad but the lyrics suck. Generic and mundane. Doesn't fit with the rest of the album either. Just him singing about his lust for some girl, like all the other artists
