Untitled 27 Lyrics
I miss you x9
Where are you x3
I’m lost x4
Where are you x4
I’m lost x4
Suicidal tendencies,
Drink creativity
Autopilot
Love the music
Sick
Sleep [x10 fade]
I love you x8
I don’t want to disappoint you, oh
Because you hold me, oh
Before I fall
You’re my unconditional love
You’re my eyes and you’re my sunny days
But when my pen hit the paper
And try to mould and sculpt and shape her
And make her lovely
It wasn’t good enough
It wasn’t good enough
But when I can hear the paper
And try to mould and sculpt and shape her
And I try to love it
But it still hurts to touch
It still hurts to touch
And it hurts to touch
And it hurts to touch
And it hurts to touch
And it hurts
To touch
And it hurts to be here
I don’t want to be here
And it hurts to be here
Tonight x2
And it hurts to be here (suicidal tendencies)
I don’t want to be here (drink creative or deep)
Goodnight,
My love
Drink creativity
Autopilot
Love the music
Sleep [x10 fade]
I love you x8
Because you hold me, oh
Before I fall
You’re my unconditional love
You’re my eyes and you’re my sunny days
But when my pen hit the paper
And try to mould and sculpt and shape her
And make her lovely
It wasn’t good enough
It wasn’t good enough
But when I can hear the paper
And try to mould and sculpt and shape her
And I try to love it
But it still hurts to touch
It still hurts to touch
And it hurts to touch
And it hurts to touch
And it hurts
To touch
I don’t want to be here
And it hurts to be here
Tonight x2
I don’t want to be here (drink creative or deep)
Goodnight,
My love

I'm not whether this is trying to show someone struggling to express something they feel (probably unrequited love).
Since it appears on the album before Poem Song I nearly feel that it's about the struggle to create something to express how you feel, but "It wasn't good enough". And it changes into a way to either forget or to deal with the pain of what has to be separation.
I love this song.
It is quite obviously about wanting to die. An overt expression of a deathwish, even if it's a temporal or a conditional one. No doubt about that in my mind.
The title could be alluding to the typical musicians death at 27, but that's only speculation.
Yeah, it's a suicide song. Plain and simple.

Too me this is an absolute masterpiece. She proclaims to not be creative. It sounds too me like she would rather not be writing it at all, at the time, and writes the song in spite of her own unwillingness. "When my pen hit the paper". Like she's a stranger to herself and she's simply given up and is just trying to write something inane, but...
Too me this is an absolute masterpiece. She proclaims to not be creative. It sounds too me like she would rather not be writing it at all, at the time, and writes the song in spite of her own unwillingness. "When my pen hit the paper". Like she's a stranger to herself and she's simply given up and is just trying to write something inane, but can't help making something great. Instead of really describing the pain, at the end she confines herself to just stating outright that it hurts. Like some sort of anti-poem. There's an amazing simplicity in the words "I don't want to be here".
And the arrangement of the song does not add a second verse, which adds to the whole feeling somehow. Other musicians sometimes use this arrangement too.
