Send It On Lyrics
A word's just a word
Till you mean what you say
And love isn't love
Till you give it away
We've all gotta give
Yes, something to give
To make a change
Send it on
(Send it on)
On and on
(On and on)
Just one hand can heal another
Be a part
(Be a part)
Reach a heart
(Reach a heart)
Just one spark starts a fire
With one little action
The chain reaction will never stop
Make us strong
Shine a light and send it on
Shine a light and send it on
Just smile
(Just smile)
And the world
(And the world)
Will smile along with you
That small act of love
That's meant for one who'll become two
If we take the chances
To change circumstances
Imagine all we can do if we
Send it on
(Send it on)
On and on
(On and on)
Just one hand can heal another
Be a part
(Be a part)
Reach a heart
(Reach a heart)
Just one spark starts a fire
With one little action
The chain reaction will never stop
Make us strong
Shine a light and send it on
Send it on
There's power in all of the choices we make
So I'm starting now
There's not a moment to waste
A word's just a word
Till you mean what you say
And love isn't love
Till you give it away
Send it on
(Send it on)
On and on
(On and on)
Just one hand can heal another
Be a part
(Be a part)
Reach a heart
(Reach a heart)
Just one spark starts a fire
With one little action
The chain reaction will never stop
Make us strong
(Shine a light)
Shine a light and send it on
Send it on
(Send it on)
On and on
Just one hand can heal another
Be a part
(Be a part)
Reach a heart
(Reach a heart)
Just one spark starts a fire
With one little action
The chain reaction
We'll help it start
Make us strong
Shine a light and send it on
Shine a light and send it on
Till you mean what you say
And love isn't love
Till you give it away
We've all gotta give
Yes, something to give
To make a change
(Send it on)
On and on
(On and on)
Just one hand can heal another
Be a part

Send It On" is a song performed by American recording artists Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, the Jonas Brothers and Selena Gomez. The group, billed as Disney's Friends for Change, stems from Disney's environmental initiative of the same name. "Send It On" was written by Adam Anders, Nikki Hassman, and Peer Åström and produced by Anders and Åström. The song was released on August 11, 2009 by Walt Disney and Hollywood Records as a promotional charity single in order to benefit international environmental associations. In regard to the song and the campaign, the six singers noted that it is a good cause and that it is one dear to them. The ballad is lyrically about passing on an environmentalist message.
