i think this song is not about a boy and a girl at all. I think its about how they have all these critics, people judging them because of their music and how most of their lyrics are about sex and whatnot.
"heres to you, criticize, my darlings. are you satisfied?" Like hes giving these critics this song. Like, here its for you, and its not about sex or love, this is all for you. Kinda like a big FU to all these people who are judging them.

I kinda like to look at this song this way: Its about losing fans. (even though that's impossible for this band) It makes sense because:

You're Being Loud Without A Sound (fans used to scream loudly and sing along at the concerts but over time it all just died down and now its like they're aren't quite there)

You Paste Me In Just To Cut Me Out (fans are pasting in the bands pictures/posters in their notebook/lockers/rooms but soon just take them down)

Well that's how i like to look at it, even though Breathe Carolina could never possibly lose their fans. they're so amazing. My brother's been a fan since they first started in Denver. Used to go to their concerts all the time. Kyle's really cool. He started a random conversation with my brother hahahXD

I think this song is pretty self-explanatory. It's about a boy and a girl. The girl always has the guy around and includes him in everything just so she can question and criticize him.

I think it's about being a short term hit as a band. Kinda like selling out then completely fading away because fans stop paying attention.

I think it could also mean that maybe he went out with a girl then she purposely makes his life/feelings/emotions,etc a living hell and makes him feel like crap. "You Build Me Up Just To Break Me Down You're Being Loud Without A Sound You Paste Me In Just To Cut Me Out"

Girls chasing after you just because ur in a band... u would get sick of them "pretending" just for the publicity... digging their grave is the emotion of having ur heart ripped out... but now its time for revenge and once that girl is found out... she has dug ur grave but ur pushing her in it "breaking her heart instead"

This song is in Jay Leno commercials. Apparently Jay Leno is a big screamo fan.

i think this is about a guy and he like this girl and they are friends but she flirts with him and gets him to like her ALOT and when he does she wont date him or anything. it says you build me up, (your making me love you) just to break me down (to ditch me in love way)

I think this is about people who don't believe them and say crap about their music. They're saying that they can be quiet, and find someone else to criticize, and that they don't care. It's an awesome song. I absolutely love it, and breathe carolina :D <3
