On Sleepy Islands Lyrics
There will be no songs sung
By the chimneys or the trees tonight
While we're sleeping beside of windows
Come morning clouds
Descend into city streets
Avenues disappear forever
You felt a little bit alone
When you were in my arms
But in your eyes, silhouettes
A flower's fault
Flowers fall
But I'll be there in my astronomer's jacket
At your snare drum's birthday party
Conducting the musicians
Oh, I'm playing an organ
And violin arrangements
I've written for the occasion
And you felt a little bit alone
When you were in New York
But in your eyes, silhouettes
A flower's fault
Flowers fall
So snowflakes will find us laughing
At our home, it's in October
Up on sleepy islands
By the chimneys or the trees tonight
While we're sleeping beside of windows
Descend into city streets
Avenues disappear forever
When you were in my arms
But in your eyes, silhouettes
Flowers fall
At your snare drum's birthday party
Conducting the musicians
And violin arrangements
I've written for the occasion
When you were in New York
But in your eyes, silhouettes
Flowers fall
At our home, it's in October
Up on sleepy islands

The line KILLED ME. But I think it might be "Have the noose disappear forever" which does not make a terrible amount of sense, but makes a good deal more than "bavanoos disappear forever" which was the only other thing I could make of it. And damn your lack of capitals. They pain me deeply.
Oh, also: with the song being called 'On Sleepy Islands' and all, I sort-of assumed that last line was 'Upon sleepy islands' or 'up on' which the enunciation sounds more like. Am I being nitpicky? Yes, I do believe I am. I do believe so.
