this song's full title is "Ground Beneath My Feet"
This is my favorite song on the album so far. It's so full of life, and I love how it starts going in one direction, and it ends in a completely different place.
This song is beautiful... more melancholy than the rest of the album, mayhap. Not sure exactly what it's about. Could be about a break-up or just leaving someone in general... but it kind of reminds me of someone dying, too....
"The quiet spill, the vile retreat" should be "the quiet spill of our retreat", at least according to the album insert.
