I'd pretty much agree with the John Feldmann idea. But honestly, this could be a reference to anyone, or anything. It pretty much covers all of the people that may of backstabbed/hurt/betrayed Bert. Very relate able song and my favorite off the album. I like how this song was a major, major throwback to ILAD and their self-titled album. Reminded me a lot of Sound Effects and Overdramatics.

To me, this song sounds about a bad break up, and that the relationship never were good in the first place.

i definitely agree to this sounding like Sound Effects yess that's what i first thought. but the meaning itself, i don't think of it as a relationship that started badly, just a relationship Bert needs to let go he's telling himself all this stuff to ease the pain rather than it actually working. like "i could forget" rather than "i will" or "i did" i don't think he really can and "you never got me" i think he's also trying to tell himself and convince himself that it wasn't that great when really it was but that's just my take on it. and i don't really wanna start arguments on here, they're all just opinions.

I love the fact that it sounds a lot like Sound Effects as that is still one of my fave songs by them!!!! But on this song, which to me is one of the best on Artwork, Bert actually said at their London show on Wednesday that this song is about revenge!! Oh and its 'I could forget the Hype for always' and not 'Height for always'!!!! - just thought i would throw that one in lol!

Also when I heard it, right before the chorus, it sounded a bit like the beginning of Sound Effects and Overdramatics.
