uhm ya no this song is definitely sick puppies. i was just listening to the song on youtube with the lyrics and this is it. it is not tears into wine i listened to that song as well.
much better thanks for posting i tried to put these lyrics up but i couldnt figure out some of the lines. as for the song meaning i think its about a guy cheating or wanting to just get with alot of girls and lies to the girls to get away with it.
It seems like the guy just doesn't really want to be in a monogamous relationship even though that's what the girl wants. He wants to play the field & live it up rather than be 'tied down' to one person for the rest of his life. even though he tried to play the loving boyfriend role, it's not reality for him. that's what I'm getting from this song at least.

i believe that this song means that he cheats jus because that's who he is. but he still feels bad about it, so he covers up. they try to make things work but realize that things jus don't work. it all ends bad because he couldn't jus give up himself and that's the way he wants it. i would kno, been there done that too many times.
I think it's actually more of a tongue-in-cheek jab at the people who actually think this way in real life.

The man is very deep. Complicated on the outside, simple and loving on the in. I think their videos say that.
