I think the guy maybe misses his chance with the girl when she lived there and she moved or something to a state with alot of sunshine, and he misses her or something? and trying to travel to where she is...?
"After all, the coldest weathers" should be "After all, the coldest winters"
And I sincerely love this song.
I believe it's about a guy that misses the sunshine of a girl he truly liked/ loved. When he falls asleep at night, nothing's on his mind but the "sunlight" - representing her.
