Sleep Tight Lyrics
Hey, I was born and quickly got administrated
I learned the words and soon could be indoctrinated
I was locked away to be enuciated;
"Just be like him, her, this, that, them, those"
(X2)
Sleep tight, sleep tight
Sleep tight, ooh
Sleep tight, sleep tight
Sleep ti-hi-hi-hight
I went to school and learned that I get agitated
You follow rules and then, they call you educated
You get your freedom as soon as you're assimilated
"Just be like him, her, this, that, them, those"
Sleep tight, sleep tight
Sleep tight, ooh
Sleep tight, sleep tight
Sleep ti-hi-hi-hight
I learned the words and soon could be indoctrinated
I was locked away to be enuciated;
"Just be like him, her, this, that, them, those"
Sleep tight, ooh
Sleep tight, sleep tight
Sleep ti-hi-hi-hight
You follow rules and then, they call you educated
You get your freedom as soon as you're assimilated
"Just be like him, her, this, that, them, those"
Sleep tight, ooh
Sleep tight, sleep tight
Sleep ti-hi-hi-hight

Seems pretty straightforward, it's a song about how for their entire lives people are being drilled into going with the flow and are being told to "just be like him her, this that, them those", rather than being themselves and not following the basic system. 'Sleep tight' is directed at the people who do follow this system and never know anything else.
