Pure Sincerity Lyrics
Dying is Easy
It's living that's hard
It's so disturbing to hear what you're fearing
Rain of terror out in the cold
Give’em what they want
Give’em what they need
Pure sincerity, pure sincerity
It's what made me born from insanity
Pure sincerity, pure
Questions asked, the answers come quickly
Remorse can be so dangerous
Wolf in the fold, terror within
Out in the cold
Give em what they want
Give em what they need
Pure sincerity, pure sincerity
It's what made me born from insanity
Pure sincerity
The things I am
The things that I've become
The wings of honor
Son of Father
Don't know if I can stand
Where I once fucking stood
If I could, if I could
Don't you think I fucking would!
Things to come, it must be from the heart...
Are these shadows of things from the past?
Are these the shadows of things to come?...
Where do we go?...
Pure sincerity, pure sincerity
It's what made me born from insanity
Pure sincerity
It's living that's hard
It's so disturbing to hear what you're fearing
Rain of terror out in the cold
Give’em what they need
It's what made me born from insanity
Pure sincerity, pure
Remorse can be so dangerous
Wolf in the fold, terror within
Out in the cold
Give em what they need
It's what made me born from insanity
Pure sincerity
The things that I've become
The wings of honor
Son of Father
Where I once fucking stood
If I could, if I could
Don't you think I fucking would!
Are these shadows of things from the past?
Are these the shadows of things to come?...
Where do we go?...
It's what made me born from insanity
Pure sincerity

In short i believe that this song is about conforming to the generalized public to the point that you begin to lose your own identity and take on a new persona. Note that he says "Give 'em what they want. Give 'em what they want." and the change in pace and plain out flat mood of the song when he says "The things I am, The things that I've become..." becomes faster and more intense, and not to mention he says "Don't know if I can stand, Where I once fucking stood, If I could, if I could, Don't you think I fucking would!" meaning that he has completly lost touch of his true self.
i fucking love the entrance to this song haha, really dont have a idea on what the songs means but when i do ill post my thoughts :P
This is the depiction of what we would be if we were to let our truth(s) come out for the world to see.
