This song is really good. It's weird how coal chamber sucked so bad and Devildriver is so amazing.
I think the song is about DevilDriver. With their first album they weren't very respected, with Dez refusing to use his fame from coal chamber to propel DevilDriver forward. DevilDriver got to where they were from almost constant touring and musical development. But after last kind words they were seen to be at the top of their game and most people thought they couldn't get any better. This song is basically a big fuck you to all the people that thought they couldn't get any better and to say that "hey, we got here from years of hard work and labor. we deserve what we have."
But then again... i could be wrong.
id say its about getting bullied and picked on as a kid and growing up working hard to become successful, stronger, ect. In other words having the tables turned.
