In an interview Dez said that its more about about settling down when he gets home from tour. He doesnt realize that he drinks/smokes practically every night because it's just the way it is, so you come home cool off, maybe have some time to clear your head, but all he wants to do is get back on the road again- "You tried to make me stay I said 'No Way', grabbed my bag and hit the highway"

love this song! every line i can relate to. very simple to see the meanings in this one. a drug addict procrastinating over recovery/cleaning up and turning away from those who offer help.
