No Hassle Night Lyrics
I'm looking for a place to go
Where the sun goes down
And stays down
I'm looking for a place to go
Where I can lay low
Die slow
My baby, she's uptight
Her face is frozen in daylight
My darlin', she's a drifter
Nothing out there seems to fit her
I'm looking for a no hassle night
I've become her and it hurts my mind
I'm looking for a no hassle night
I've become her and it hurts my mind
I'm looking for a no hassle night
My baby, she's a burglar
Nothing I know, can deter her
I'm looking for a place to go
Where the sun goes down
I can lay low
Where the sun goes down
And stays down
I'm looking for a place to go
Where I can lay low
Die slow
Her face is frozen in daylight
My darlin', she's a drifter
Nothing out there seems to fit her
I've become her and it hurts my mind
I'm looking for a no hassle night
I've become her and it hurts my mind
I'm looking for a no hassle night
Nothing I know, can deter her
I'm looking for a place to go
Where the sun goes down
I can lay low

first comment, bitchin! first of all...one of my favorite songs off of Horehound. The organ riff is what got me hooked. This song reminds me of a dysfunctional relationship between a couple. The woman is uptight, hassling, deceptive, and all around bitchy. He wants just one night away from her so he can have a calm night "die slow"
where the sun goes down...and stays down. we're all lookin' for that. lol
