Ambivalence Avenue Lyrics
In between these white hotels
The parallel pavements are peaceful
The fallen leaves from flakey trees
That decorate car bonnets
I had this beautiful day-dreaming moment
The sun was shining strangely amber
Shouldered by flickering golden-green avenues
And city-doves perching on vapour trails
Then we saw from the upper deck
Watching ourselves as if seeing our future
Greeted by strangers who seemed to be good friends
And welcomed us through their shiny red door
That's about then when my dream began fading out and hearing the thoughts of ambivalence
The parallel pavements are peaceful
The fallen leaves from flakey trees
That decorate car bonnets
The sun was shining strangely amber
Shouldered by flickering golden-green avenues
And city-doves perching on vapour trails
Watching ourselves as if seeing our future
And welcomed us through their shiny red door

i love this song, i used to listen to it all summer. its one of those hypnotizing songs.
This is the first bibio song I heard and discovered last summer. I truely have become a huge fan of bibio and whenever I need inspiration while i write, i just let bibio play. This song is so beautiful and peacful(:
one of the most beautiful songs i've ever heard. almost too ghostly and nostalgic to listen too but i can't stop playing it. becoming a fan of bibio at least of this record.
