My take.
The songs definitely about Shrooms. Our man Mitch went on a Shroom trip and wrote one of my favorite songs off this album.
By "embarrassment to molecules", he means WE are an embarrassment. Molecules make up our body, and we, essentially, are not worthy of it. "We're so very insignificant" and "I start to think a little differently at what we are" express the fact that us, as humans, are rather petty in comparison to everything around us, even life itself.
If you've ever tripped on Shrooms (the right way), you can see that these are sure signs of a psilocybin-induced trip. And that these words make complete and hard sense.
Basically he be fucked up, nigga.

I think he's definitely wasted, yes, but i think this lyric... "You see my head's off resting in this delusional stare" compares his intoxication to death, or near-death euphoria. This causes some people to have an epiphany. For example, some people who have overdosed and "cheated death" believe in god after the fact because they "saw a light at the end of a tunnel"

I think that suggests...
I think that suggests his epiphany during his stupor made him realize the impact of a single human life on the earth, which is essentially zero. (Comparable to a molecule?) That's my take on it, I may be way off. the only thing i know is SUICIDE SILENCE IS FUCKING BRUTAL!

I think it was more saying we are like a waste of molecules. Or maybe that we are even smaller than molecules. But that's just my opinion i may be wrong.
