I'm pretty sure she says "Shake the silence before it's too late", not 'Shake this silence back 'fore it's too late'...
Definitly my favorite song on the album. Something about the words/meanings helps one know and cope with the tribual feelings/actions/response to love/heartbreak/moving on.
And they are awesome live, Izzy has some pipes on her. She is amazing!!
