I think it just represents a pumpkin :) And s/he's bouncing down the sidewalk due to his sugar intake as he leaves house after house. Such a cool holiday for children or adults who beg for their child's KitKat candy bars:). Happy Happy Halloween 2011. May we all remain children at heart and always get excited over the little things. Life is too short not to enjoy every second of it!
