Freedom Song Lyrics
Whether it be February, October or July, I find freedom. I'm feeling alive. I am staring at two panes of glass that reflect all the mistakes I've made and then taken away. There were pictures in the artwork, there were figments in lovers, there were colors in black and white. I discovered slavery is conveniently offered across the broadband line. But I; I won't be taken this time. No, I won't be taken alive.
Explosions over heaven are just so simple, next to heaven, the darkness of the sky against the brightness of the river. Now, freedom give me, freedom oh give me, freedom give me, oh freedom oh give me, give!
Myself and my excuses were both made to become useless, the intrusion of my senses blind, deaf, dumb just like Judas had betrayed me but you were faithful and be capable of the foolish love of the Messiah who was dying just to know me full of blueness. In a day of independence, my heart ran to you forever. You're the solace I remember in the corner of my bedroom. Now eternity is open, faith and hope have changed the looming into knowing that you're here and never going away.
Love is why I'm alive. On the fourth of July...
The explosions over heaven are just so simple, next to heaven, the darkness of the sky against the brightness of the river. Now, freedom give me, freedom oh give me, freedom give me, oh freedom oh give me, give!
Freedom give me, freedom oh give me, freedom give me, freedom oh give me, freedom give me, freedom oh give me, freedom give me, freedom oh give me! Freedom give me, freedom oh give me Freedom oh give me, freedom give me, give me freedom oh give me
(I won't be taken this time, Lord. I won't be taken alive, Lord! Love is why I'm alive! On the fourth of July.) .
Explosions over heaven just as simple, next to heaven, the darkness of the sky against the brightness of the river. Now, freedom give me, freedom oh give me, freedom give me, oh freedom oh give me, give!

Ok, I love this song! I wanted to post the lyrics because no one can ever find them. I'm not sure how accurate they are because it's really hard to understand the words. so, if I could get a second opinion, that would be cool :]
Friday Mourning Freedom Song lyrics!!!
"I discovered slavery is conveniently offered across the broadband line. But I; I won't be taken this time. No, I won't be taken alive." - sounds like he's talking about being addicted to porn.

They were a sweet band. I saw them in Missouri and they ROCKED!

justanotherdude is right...this is about struggles with porn - and finding freedom from those struggles.

“On 4th of February, October or July I find freedom, I’m feeling alive. I am staring at two panes of glass; that reflect the mistakes I have made and then taken away.
There were pictures and the awkward, there were segments and lovers, there were colors in black-and-white. I discovered slavery is conveniently offered across a broadband line.
But I won’t be taking this time, no I won’t be taken alive.
The explosions overhead or just a symbol next to Heaven. The darkness of the sky against the brightness of forever. Freedom, now give me freedom or give me death.
Myself and my excuse is we’re both made to become useless. The intrusion of my senses, blind, deaf, dumb, and just like Judas. That betray me but you were faithful, even capable of the foolish love of the Messiah who is dying just to know me full of newness.
On a day of independence my heart ran to you forever. You were solace, I remember, in the corner of my bedroom. Now eternity is open, faith and hope have changed to knowing, that you’re here and never going away.
Love is why I’m alive. On the Fourth of July.
The explosions overhead or just a symbol next to Heaven. The darkness of the sky against the brightness of forever. Freedom, now give me freedom or give me death.”
It’s a song about a lot of things. Mostly about how concupiscence often shows itself as a freeing force and how there is real freedom in releasing yourself from that lie.
